Startup Boards 101 is designed for early-stage companies that are beginning to think seriously about forming a board—or have recently done so and want to do it well. As businesses grow, boards can play an important role in providing guidance, accountability, and strategic support.
This three-part workshop series helps entrepreneurs and potential board members understand the fundamentals of early-stage boards. Participants explore why boards matter, the different types of boards (including advisory and fiduciary), and how boards should function in practice. The focus is on building healthy, productive relationships between founders and board members.
Founders selected for the program will have moved beyond the initial startup phase and be ready to consider how a board can support long-term growth. The series also offers valuable networking opportunities, connecting founders with potential board members and others interested in serving on early-stage boards.
Attendance at all three workshops is required. Due to the hands-on format and limited capacity, space is limited.
